How It Works
OUR TENNIS COURT PROCESS
1. Site Assessment
We evaluate your space, grade, drainage, and existing surface to design the right court for your property.
2. Base Coordination
We work with concrete partners to prepare or repair the sub-base to sport-surface spec before any coating goes down.
3. Surface Application
We apply multiple coats of acrylic surfacing in your chosen colors for a durable, consistent playing surface.
4. Line Striping
All lines are laid out to regulation and painted with contrasting colors for clear visibility during play.
5. Net Post Installation
We set and tension net posts to regulation height — 42 inches at posts, 36 inches at center with center strap.
6. Final Inspection & Handoff
We walk you through the completed court, confirm all dimensions, and answer any questions before we leave.
TENNIS COURT FAQs
Yes — we build full-size tennis courts to the same premium standard as our pickleball courts. That includes site preparation, sub-base, concrete or asphalt base coordination, acrylic surfacing, net posts, and line striping. Whether it's a backyard court, an HOA amenity, or a club facility, we deliver a surface built to last.
Cost depends on whether you're doing a new build or resurfacing an existing court — new construction involves more scope than a resurface. Key factors include site conditions, surface system, fencing, and lighting. We provide free, detailed quotes for both new builds and resurfacing so you know exactly what's involved.
A regulation tennis court playing area is 78 feet long by 36 feet wide for doubles (27 feet for singles). Including run-off space, the total recommended area is about 60 ft × 120 ft. We lay out every court to official specifications and design the surrounding space for comfortable, safe play.
Yes — we can overlay pickleball lines on an existing tennis court, or fully convert a tennis court into dedicated pickleball courts. A standard tennis court fits up to four pickleball courts. If you want to keep both sports, we use contrasting line colors. See our tennis-to-pickleball conversion page for details on the options.
Most tennis courts benefit from resurfacing every 4–8 years, depending on usage, climate, and maintenance. Signs it's time include cracking, fading color, a rough or slippery surface, and standing water after rain. Regular cleaning and maintenance extends the interval between resurfacings and protects your investment.
